10. i saw a snake this fall headed to under the house

but it's danged cold for a snake to be moving this time of year, overnight lows usually in the 20s

half a mile huh? i got a new trap so i might put it out after all and see if we get any more mousies. the new trap is perfect (according to the DH) to just set in the back of the pickup to take our lil pals for a ride
