I was pondering the symbolism too. And I agree with the summery you presented.
This summer I had a garden in a new environment, for me, and I was not only surprised but thrilled that I had several frogs and a toad who camped out in my raised beds. There were some rather big ones and some pretty tiny peepers. I caught a few of them because they startled me when I almost stepped on them in the grass. I would catch them and put them in the raised beds so I knew where they were.
Their presence had an effect on me and I hoped to see them and did many times while I watered the gardens. Sometimes they would make noise when I got them wet, other times they would let me drizzle water over them as they crouched in the carrots and beets or one of the flower beds elsewhere. We would look at each other for long spells, they stopped leaping away and seemed to appreciate the water as long as it was a gentle flow. I was careful to not blast in areas where I knew they hung out.
In one of those 'now that you mention it' moments, they are very significant both at the national level and the personal level. Perhaps for more of us than just me. For my symbolism, I moved from the Rocky Mountains, where I've lived for three and a half decades, to the north east coastal area, where I grew up. It was a major leap in so many ways and I had to make a few changes in my expectations and approach but I will have what I intended in the end. I had to accept transformation in every way. I had to trust not only myself but others to make it all work and it has, so far.
As for the national symbolism, I think that as long as we incorporate the kind of determination and solidarity we had this last weekend, I think we can transition through this shit and make the changes needed ...for the better. Pluto only just arrived in Aquarius after all.
