I appreciate the recommendation.

In November 1971, as the movie was set to be released, we were casting and rehearsing for my 5th grade class play, which was Fiddler on the roof. I was raised in Brooklyn, NY, very Jewish neighborhood, many Jewish students and teachers in my public school. My parents had the music cassette from the play. I broke my ankle during winter recess, and couldn't be in our play. I was unable to return to school for a month, during which time I listened to that cassette and read the script many times.

So, I am very familiar with the story and music. I will look forward to seeing this documentary when it's available on line or on CD.
