7. The media has caused much of this mess we're in.

I was lucky in that my parents knew tv was a problem. I remember Vietnam on tv. We watched Laugh-in, and pretty much 5pm news. I grew up in a brilliant and liberal neighborhood. Who knows what I would have become had I lived in some low level neighborhood. So I haven 't changed over the years in terms of how I approach and digest politics.

This is the difficult task we're faced; one which we will turn around with the help of Bernie Sanders.

Reagan repealed the Fairness Doctrine just so there would be large pockets of Americans who did not know the truth about the state of affairs.

It's hard to even know what to say, since this is so new. We are learning very quickly now. Occupy is an example. We learned about the 1%. We finally realized the degree and cause of wealth inequality.

It's more than just being aware. I don't believe the Clinton supporters, especially on this forum, don't know what Bernie stands for. I think there's greed in their choice as well.

Right now I'm nervous, yet hopeful. When I spend time watching the live feeds on youtube, I am seeing outstanding comments from all ages and types, which indicates to me that there is a real yearning for the truth, and for the morals and vision of Martin Luther King Jr. That, to me, is what this election is about. Bringing MLK's dream to life. The media is quickly becoming obsolete as these fantastic new independent media roots sprout.
