(9,604 posts)could be made about every single primary runner up in history. He conceded, he endorsed Clinton, he campaigned for her, he even chastised his supporters like he did at the convention.
He did everything he was supposed to do.
The time between the convention and the general election was enough to bring unity every other time in history.
It was enough time in 2008, and Sanders brought an even greater percentage of his voters to Clinton than Clinton did for Obama back then.
By every objective standard the loss we suffered in 2016 can be laid at the feet of one person: James Comney.
But Bernie is the one who gets the hate. The person keeping progressives and Liberals working within the party as opposed to without via a third party.
His actions viewed objectively are more help than they are harmful.
