2. I'd just finished reading Anthony Fauci's book before he was on Lawrence, and wept as Lawrence introduced him.

I HIGHLY recommend his book.

The lessons he teaches us about how we prepare and respond to the unknown he frames in two separate but sometimes overlapping "buckets": the scientific bucket and the public health bucket.

We millions who got an mRNA vaccine, in a record 11 months, for a previously unknown global pandemic virus
-- because of his parallel tracking of drug trials during the AIDS epidemic decades earlier -- makes him the medical and public health GOAT.

Anthony Fauci's life is a great lesson in great spirits who love to learn, and then use their high level expertise through networks of help to humanity. He guided seven American presidents.

His work with GWBush (PEPFAR) to save millions across continents, his willingness to learn from and then become loved by those who called him a murderer is a humbling lesson in faith, love and commitment.

I'm grateful to be alive at the same time Anthony Fauci is.
