Former Green Bay Packers receiver Max McGee died late Saturday afternoon following an accident at his home in Deephaven, Minn., KARE TV, Channel 11, of Minneapolis-St. Paul reported.

Police were called to his home around 5:20 p.m. Saturday on a report of an unconscious man who had fallen off the roof.
