Soros isn't responsible for the failure of those currencies, and he in no way "broke the bank of england", the Bank of England was broke when he found it. They were trying to screw east germans by linking their curreny with the duestch mark. They were trying to keep the pound lower then the duestch mark so that the English companies could suck up all the east german money that was now available to them.

Soros has so far only used NONVIOLENT means to bring down corrupt dictators. He's probably the single most effective revolutionary in history.
