3. Things are getting interesting.....
It sounds like Bush is leaving the ranch for a few days (to get away from the protesters, no doubt). He's going to spend 5 days "pushing popular support for the war".

We should assume he's going to pull out the boring old arguments: Saddam was a threat, all the terrorists are in Iraq, mushroom clouds, we're fighting them there, etc bla bla bla barf et etc.

Now this is interesting because:

1) Bush has a tough time convincing people to do anything. He's not a motivational speaker AT ALL. People just drift off to Dimension X while he blabs on and on. Remember his Social Security Fiasco? He was going to talk to "60 cities in 60 days". I think he made it to 42. Pollsters said that Amazingly, the support for his plan WENT DOWN as he hit the road. In other words, the more he talked, the less people liked it. This could be really GOOD for us.

2) Bush is not telling us anything new. He's not presenting any new ideas, no new solutions to the problems that are spinning out of control in Iraq. He keeps hammering away with "stay the course", "we must finish the job" on and on.

Let's see how he does.....
