Not you, Progressive One. I'm talking about the corporate-dominated media which can only be bothered to derive the most obvious lessons from events such as this week's elections. The problem is that these obvious lessons -- conventional wisdom -- won't mean dogshit two or three months from now. This AP story is journalistic laziness at its most full flourish. At least, until the David Broder column recapitulating it comes out sometime later this week in the Washington Post.
