Democrats running for statewide office are poised for a big day at the polls next week, according to a new Mason-Dixon poll for The Plain Dealer...

The big surprise is in the race for attorney general, which the poll suggests is dead even. Democrat Marc Dann and Republican Betty Montgomery each claimed the support of 44 percent of respondents.

In the race for Secretary of State, Democrat Jennifer Brunner leads Republican Greg Hartmann, 41 to 32.

For state treasurer, Democrat Richard Corddray leads Republican Sandra O'Brien, 47-35...
