We, the kids, drew them. There were 3 or 4 just out of college teachers in my high school who most decidedly were not "parent figures," but rather were decidedly attractive and lusted after. And one hot 40-ish spanish teacher, Sra. Green, whom I always think of when I see Edna Crabopple on the Simpsons, that I would even have done.

And no, I would not have been traumatized.

If this woman were a mother figure, the kid would not have been turned on by her, would have withdrawn from any early flirting or other initial behaviors, and it wouldn't have happened. Teenagers aren't helpless puppies.
