Most Americans can’t name a single GOP presidential candidate, despite potential nominees flooding the airwaves and mounting soapboxes nationwide, a new poll shows.

More than half of all voters - 53% - could not name anyone when asked which GOP candidate they have been hearing about most, according to a Pew Research survey released Wednesday.

Billionaire real estate mogul Donald Trump fared the best, with 26% of Americans hearing about him the most, followed by former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney with 9%, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin with 4% and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee with 2%.

Rounding out the bottom of the list were ex-Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich and former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, each garnering 1%.
