177. Well, if we actually got news, I would agree with you.
But since our news just consists of a far tackier version of the British Royals, I haven't missed it.

1) Wall to Wall Teabagger coverage.

2) Sarah Palin and her dysfunctional family, 'will she run, will she not'

3) Donald, the bankruptcy king, Trump. Now THAT'S worthy of all the coverage it gets! :eyes:

Not to mention that these two clowns are actually talked about seriously in our media as future Presidents.

4) The Balloon Boy, how many wasted hours were spent on that story?

5)Lindsey Lohan or some-other-hard-to-distinguish-from-her Hollywood brat, dyed hair, fake boobs etc.

6) Liars and criminals and racists like Andrew Breitbart, James O'Keefe et al presented as legitimate political commentators.

I could on, but whenever I try to find news on our media, this is mostly what I see.

So, seeing coverage of the Royal Wedding was, imho, a huge improvement over what usually passes for news.

If we ever get around to having a legitimate News Org., then I would definitely complain about wasting a lot of time on events like this, but since we will miss NO serious news reporting, I don't see the problem.
