I wonder if the Shrub administration might use this as an escape route. They blame the situation in Iraq on Iran and then use that as an excuse to invade Iran. They'd declare that Iran's role constitutes an attack on the US. Heck, they then would have adjoining countries and would be following the PNAC's plan. I don't think they could pull this off unless Shrub is reselected, but it has me worried. I don't trust anything this administration does and I don't underestimate the underhanded trickery that they will go through to accomplish their goals.
