This story has more lives than a cat. The real problem here is that they want the public to believe that on the one hand this was all an intelligence failure and not the fault of the WH, and on the other hand these stories still have credibility. This of course is meant to confuse you and I, to distract us from the fact that the imperial invasion had nothing to do with any of it.
