quite an experience. Thank you DU family for the lovely messages and caring thoughts.

My son (actually, step son) re-enlisted. I love him as if he was my own son and maybe more because he is so hard to reach. He is angry, unhappy, negative, blunt and uses abusive language. Not once did I hear him say one kind word to his wife nor to his 4 beautiful girls. I was shaking in my boots myself. He runs his house like boot camp. His wife is ultra religious and to the point of sounding insane.

My oldest grand daughter told me that George Bush was a good president because he's a christian. I felt such tremendous sadness. I hugged her tight and rocked her in my arms. The lies that come out of this child's mouth is horrifying.

We were not allowed to listen to the news because all the channels are broadcasting lies about george bush. I read the newspaper inside our camper because they have also banned newspapers from their house.

Well, may God keep my son in his tavels. Thank you all.
