I mean that's the first rule of the playground is that sometimes you dont get you way. Sometimes the other kids don't want to play the game you want to, or want you to play left field when you want shortstop. How a kid handles that situation tells you a lot about his character.

We are playing in a field with a lot of other kids who don't agree with us; so let's convince the kids that our way is right, then we can fire the coach.

OK, that metephor may have gone a little further than it should have, but you get my point.
