4. He'll never spend a day in prison
not even in one of those country club prisons they have for white collar thieves who hurt millions of people.

First, the whole thing is going to be hard to prove. If he goes to trial, it will take months, maybe years. He may die of old age before the trial concludes. They'll have to prove he really did know what was going on, something they'll need Fastow and Skilling to roll over on, which means one of them might walk.

Second, his best buddy is still in the White House, and still holds presidential pardon power. I hate seeing these scumbags get indicted while Bush still holds that power. I fully expect him to use it.

I saw that perp walk on NBC. He looked like he knew it was just theater for the rubes.
