Could someone tell me how many military is based in the u.s.

I posted about "who is guarding our nation when our national guard is in iraq" and i had a rightie said "its just silly to say that, we still have our military bases here, why not find the #'s of military based here and then we can talk"
she is being a bitch about it so i would like togive her those numbers. anyone can help?
