How secure is your job from outsourcing/offshoring?

I would bet that the vast majority of Americans' jobs are NOT safe, and over the next 4 years, a lot MORE of us will be displaced, and forced to take jobs that pay half as much as today.

And as this shift continues, just WHO will have any money left to donate to moveon.org, or Kucinich, or whoever.

Not only are the right decimating the middle class, they are destroying our very political relevance by turning us all into vassals

I had no illusions that Kerry would reverse this trend, but I thought he might have slowed it down or ameliorated it somewhat. Now it will only accelerate.

The story that breaks my heart the most is the one where skilled American workers are forced to spend months TRAINING THEIR FOREIGN REPLACEMENTS before being let go. Talk about gall. :puke:

Those of us who work for a living are SO FUCKED.

Anyway,

How secure is your job from outsourcing/offshoring?
