5. As someone with AD/HD
I can tell you that being a little too "creative and excited" is not the problem! If anything AD/HD blocks my creativity by making it impossible to concentrate on creative projects. AD/HD is not just about hyperactivity. In fact, many people have the "predominantly inattentive type" which is not accompanied by hyperactivity. With any kind of AD/HD, the symptoms include inattentiveness, trouble concentrating, and difficulty finishing tasks. These symptoms need to affect functioning in at least 2 areas of life for a diagnosis to be given.
