Tell your class that Swamp Rat says: KICK ASS!!!
I remember a time (Reagan era) when I was the ONLY one who did that in class. I was later kicked out of history class when they announced that Reagan had been shot and I jumped up and cheered. Everyone else had to go to the auditorium to listen to long speeches but I ended up in an empty office to await a punishment that never came, because I just walked out of the school and went home. As I got onto the street car (trolley) I gave 'em the bird and laughed all the way home. That little bit ofrésistance felt good. :D  |
