68. I'm looking forward to seeing my family
I'm tired of life in the Middle East, working 72 hours a week, and then coming in to work on my "day off" because there's nothing else to do. (I get one day off every week, which I'm grateful for, because it's a good opportunity to sleep in and do laundry.)

No, it doesn't even touch what the guys up in Iraq are going through, but it still sucks. I won't be home for Christmas, but I'll be home before the end of the month. I'll get to see my brother for a few days, who's in the Navy, since he'll be home on leave before he goes to Great Lakes for additional training.

You know what? Life's too short not to appreciate what we have, and I'm certainly not going to let the Chimp ruin my holidays. Not while my family and I are all still alive. We've got each other (plus my future sister in-law, who's cool as shit), so that's what matters to me.

The Chimp has ruined enough; he doesn't get to ruin my holidays, as well.
