5. What ban on fully automatic weapons?
Edited on Fri Jan-07-05 06:09 PM by slackmaster
They are heavily regulated but not banned.

What she's obviously trying to do is SCARE people into thinking that they ARE banned and that the Evil Gun Lobby is trying to end the ban (which does not exist).

Here is a link to the portion of the United States Code that contains all federal gun laws. I'm pretty familiar with it, having been a gun owner and collector for many years.

If you can find a ban on automatic weapons in it, please point it out. The truth of the matter is that there has been almost no crime committed with legally owned machine guns since the National Firearms Act was enacted in 1934. They're NOT banned, so how the fuck could anyone be trying to end the ban?

Sarah Brady is a lying Republican bitch. It's SOOOO obvious that what she's REALLY after is money. YOUR money. She sure as shit isn't going to get a penny of mine.

:argh:

Marc,

I'm sure you're a good, intelligent person. But do you realize people like Sarah Brady prey on your fear and your lack of knowledge about the laws we actually have? How do you feel about that?
