4. Welcome to the 50's - I led 3 lives, the FBI,, all getting UnAmericans

I remember one FBI script in 53 that had the adult saying to the youngster that was about to deliver the weekly liberal paper - which I thought I might do as I liked the people who were trying to start it up - "you do not want to talk to those people, do you son - they are anti-American, socialist - you do not want to be associated with those people, now, do you?" - the kid says "no sir" and they stop the disturbance in the community this paper might have caused.

Likewise "I led 3 lives" - our real life New Hampshire fellow's story of spying for the FBI by pretending to like unions and attending "communist/socialist" meetings and warning the FBI when these evil ones were about to hand out propaganda sheets in some parking lot - the same script over and over again -

ah, the 50's on TV, Howdy Duty, Sky king, all those bad guys and the no safe place to go except duck and cover your head with the newspaper should you see an atomic blast in the distance.

Bush and our current chicken whore media bring back such great memories!
