1. Easy to say with a straight face when one is used to lying.
Aren't energy prices and the cost of health care (the two sectors whose prices are rising the fastest) removed from the equation when determining the rate of inflation?

Isn't this administration still using Social Security funds to 'reduce' the size of the deficit? Isn't the 'war' still off of the books, funded by 'supplementals'?

Got Healthy Forests yet? Got Clear skies? Rooted out corporate corruption or achieved Corporate Responsibility yet? Preserved Social Security yet?

And what about that power outage, the one that caused such outrage a few years back. Wasn't the energy legislation begun as a consequence of that outage? Weren't they supposed to address the TRANSMISSION concerns? Does the recently signed legislation address those concerns or does it just give additional tax breaks to needy businesses like EXXON/Mobil, who, I understand recently announced first quarter profits exceeding $7 billion?

Lying is easy for these folks.
