25. I Don't Trust the Chinese
And neither should anybody else. They have one goal - to be a superpower bigger and better than the U.S. is now. And they'll do anything to achieve that goal. For example, did you know that a lot of the telecommunications equipment that's being sold to the Afghan government is from Huawei, a Chinese company? Huawei is notorious for stealing designs from companies they have partnerships with, like Cisco. They also are partially owned by the Chinese government. (Read "Chinese intelligence"). The Chinese already own at least one Internet backbone in the U.S. Not to mention that, if they call in all of the Treasury bills they've bought, the U.S. government will go tits-up.

Joss Whedon had it right in "Firefly", his short-lived TV series set in the future, where everyone was fluent in Mandarin and English.
