Jennifer Gordon talks about her book, "Suburban Sweatshops," at Politics and Prose Bookstore in Washington, DC. The author compares low-wage immigrant work such as housekeeping and yardwork to sweatshop labor and argues that conditions are very similar, for example the long hours and the high risk of injury. Ms. Gordon answers questions from the audience after her presentation.

Jennifer Gordon is a MacArthur Fellow and Associate Professor at Fordham School of Law.
