Nixon Must Be Smiling
Advertisements [?]
As Nixon looks down on the political scene from wherever he is today, he must be chuckling at how quickly Bush fell from grace. Nixon won re-election by a bona fide landslide in 1972, but by 1974 he had no friends left. Looking at the current situation, Nixon must be smiling at how quickly political success can evaporate.

Back in November, Bush crowed about the "ringing endorsement" he'd gotten from the voters. Today, his approval rating is less than Nixon's approval rating at its lowest point. Maybe it's time for Bush to make an "I am not a crook" speech.
