At the March 16 Iraq summit at the Azores (to which no undecided UN Security Council members were invited), the ruthless George W. Bush, who boasts that he "sleeps well at night", issued a new 24-hour ultimatum to Saddam Hussein to "leave Iraq" or face war. while bullying the UN Security Council for a new resolution authorizing war on Iraq.

Bush is leaving no doubt that the US intends to take Iraq, and "redraw the Middle East map" without UN backing. In a particularly sickening twist of irony, war criminal Bush, whose empire has already claimed the lives of tens of thousands of lives, claims that he intends to try top Iraqi officials for war crimes. Many of these crimes, including the alleged gassing and slaughter of Kurds, were directly and indirectly assisted and funded by the Reagan-Bush and Clinton administrations.
