It certainly seems like the first thing you would do would be establish that she was an operative. Do we know or have good evidence of how much CIA has helped Fitzgerald? Even how much they could legally help him, since much info is probably still classified. I'd like to believe, and have speculated in other threads, that they've been providing lots of info regarding the damage to national security done by outing Brewster Jennings.
