In my line of work, I heard a doctor just the other day discussing another doctor who was dependent on -- you guessed it -- hydrocodone. They have people in rehab for years! Hydrocodone is extremely seductive because, frankly, it makes you feel good. And OxyContin is even worse (or better, depending on how you look at it). Also, I think Rush was taking Oxy to help him keep the weight off; it works as an appetite depressant, too.

I'm still waiting for Rush's doctor to mention that he warned Rush of possible addiction. But of course, Rush being such a smart smart smart man, he knew better.

Rush is in it for the long haul, but he's just too stupid to realize that yet. I bet they have him on another drug to counter the withdrawal "pains."

Anyway, if all goes well, Rush will lose his "edge" from being hyped up on all those drugs.
