In a poignant and powerful address to the nation Monday night, President Bush articulated, “Saddam Hussein and his sons must leave Iraq within 48 hours.” Failure to comply “will result in conflict,” he warned, admonishing that inspectors and journalists should pack up and leave immediately. “We have come to the final days of decision.”
