From all accounts I heard he seemed to be a good Governor. Mosley Braun I thought had an opportunity too to break the racial divide for African American Democrats. The party as a whole and African American Democrats are going to have to work together on this. It takes two to tango on this one - the finger should be pointed at the party leadership, but African American Dems have to work on this also. I think with Asian Dems like Locke in Washington, this is not a problem. With with Hispanics, it is still a problem among the old Dem Hispanics: Cruz in California. Seems people thought he was going to put California back with Mexico
