.....it's very dark here in the Pacific Northwest at 5:30 p.m. The light would depend on latitude. I don't know where Iraq is in latitude -- the no fly zone was 33-36 degrees.

But the whole lighting thing is confusing. Perhaps that is some kind of ante-room or hallway with bright lighting? It seems improbable that windows would be open to the outside, exposing Bush to visibility.
