I just made raita for the first time ever.

Roughly thus:
yogurt/milk (50/50)
grated cucumber
fresh chopped dill
cumin
cayenne
salt
lots of fresh cracked black pepper

Not as good as most restaurants but plenty good. What I want to know though is how exactly do you eat it? In restaurants I always just dip my nal (bread) in it. I love that. So, is it like a cold soup? If not, I'm here to tell ya, it works pretty darn good that way. Or is it more of a condiment, and, if so, on what?
