10. The crate training has met with little success
We have the tiniest crate and she will still pee in the crate sometimes after only being in there an hour of having a delivery outside. She doesn't seem to mind the crate-but she also doesn't seem to mind sitting in her own urine either. We had been keeping a blankie in there but that's now gone. She's on plastic now and still goes.

I know what you mean about being animated. My SO takes her out at 2:00 AM and I hear him practically kissing her feet every time she goes. I'm having a harder time being excited. I'm faking it but I'm tired of cleaning up on a daily basis. Next week-end we're pulling up the carpet in the bedroom. Thank god the rest of the house has Pergo or vinyl.

I think I just met a dog who may be more stubborn than I am. I love her to pieces but she got the best of me today.

I don't strike animals but I'm thinking about using a rolled up newspaper and striking the floor next to her as my next tactic. She has no fear- so I'm not even sure that would work. She would probably think it was a game and attack it.

I know that she will get it eventually--I just don't want to wait until I'm old, incontinant and peeing on the floor myself. Well at least then someone else will have to clean it up.
