They live in Vallejo, Middletown or Santa Rosa. (Mostly--there is some low-rent housing, but not much.) I call it the Aspen syndrom. The work force that keeps the area running can't afford to live there. As I said, I lucked into a good deal 20 years ago and haven't moved. If my landlords ever raised my rent I would have to move out of the Valley.
