29. Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, England
You've got to admit to being (in)famous for Peter Mandelson too.

Beaconsfield is about 20 miles north west of London, the area is delightful combining the rolling Chiltern Hills and charming countryside with good facilities and ease of access to London.

The politics are true blue (which means the opposite of what it means in the U.S.). My M.P. is the Shadow Attorney General, and the Conservatives gained 52.9% of the vote last time round (which was a terribly result for them). In fact the whole county of Buckinghamshire is Conservative, all 5 M.P.s, all 4 District Councils, and the County Council.

Beaconsfield is famous as being the only election Tony Blair has lost, he was the Labour Party candidate at a by-election here in 1982 and came third with 10% of the vote.
