43. for my friend that committed suicide in January
Edited on Tue Aug-02-05 05:50 PM by miss_kitty
the announcement was a paid one, and the family did not say in the announcement. She was not famous, so there was no news article about her. They implied it was something else by saying "In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society," which I thought was ok, since it was a disease their mom died of.
I think all families handle it differently and different members within the family will handle it differently, since it can be interpreted as an act of anger or selfishness against certain members, and others will feel guilt or outrage at the deceased.

I am so sorry for your loss, Maddy McCall.
