If you think American made drugs aren't the major players in foreign lands, you are sleeping at the wheel.
There are only a couple of drug companies who have bought out everyone else. They are forced by law to sell the same drugs we take here cheaper in canada, england, france etc.
They want to continue to gouge Americans.
Damn, if the drug manufacturers just cut their ADVERTISING budget by a billion dollars, and spend it on R&D, they might come up with something like a cancer cure instead of something that makes a 90-year old have an erection and grows hair on bald people.
(a welcome relief to the "sufferers" perhaps, but I think a cancer cure is a tad bit more important.)
