Our dog seems upset with us (Just got back from dental work) [View All]

We took him in this morning. He is a 11 year old American eskimo. He had his teeth cleaned and a couple removed. He was put under anestetic. He was already agitated before we took him since we were instructed not to let him eat after 8 p.m.
When I picked him up, he seemed to be excited to leave the vets but not to see me. He isn't wagging his tail since he's been home like usual. He didn't seem interested in seeing my husband who is his best buddy either. He has drank a lot of water, but hasn't eaten even though he seemed like he was starving this morning.
I am hoping that he is just tired from the procedure even though the vet said that he woke up quickly after it and seemed to have a lot of energy. He is usually a very affectionate, loving dog.
