12. Cost is one factor.

The dish with two receivers is less than what I'm paying for digital cable now.
Plus, there are a lot of channels our cable doesn't carry, like Comedy, C-span 2, etc.
We've already got coax running to all the TVs for cable and I assume we'd use the same to hook up the dish receivers.
