Could I be like Carrie?

Last week I was walking down a supermarket aisle when just across from me a stack of styrofoam plates fell for no apparent reason. I look around startled and a woman behind me joked "What did you do? Look at it funny?" I smiled. I actually had just been quietly annoyed at the fact they only had the milk chocolate flavor of Carnation Instant Breakfast and I wanted the chocolate malted.

Today, I was standing at the checkout at a drug store when a display of nail clippers next to me suddenly crashed to the floor. I said to the cashier "Did I do this?", thinking I may have inadvertantly brushed against it. "No" she said, "I was watching and you never touched it." As a picked up the scattered nail clippers she insisted I shouldn't do that because it wasn't my fault. I had actually been a little annoyed because the purchase came to $11.19, I gave her a $20 and she did that waiting thing like I was supposed to dig for the 19 cents.

Please note that I'm a guy and I went through puberty about 35 years ago. These were minor annoyances so what might happen if I were to take a White House tour?
