the manager of the building we're in, hubby posted a notice well in advance regarding FedEx & UPS deliveries cause she was just letting herself in...but then she started to comment on things that were in our room!!! we didn't mind so much if she was just opening the door for the delivery guy, but then it got weird...so hubby set her up
changed the upper dead bolt & didn't tell her which you are allowed to do in cali if you have cause, then one day after work we found the lower one locked cause she likely realized she couldn't get through, got flustered, couldn't remember which one was unlocked to begin with, and locked the lower one just to be sure = busted, not good for her either
the property owner now mentions in response to our bringing this up to him (he's a nice guy very reasonable) that he has a stack of complaints regarding these kinds of things against her, and please wishes that we deescalate cause he knows she is unable to do so
so i hear'ya, Hon...long story short? we have rights too :hi:
