Not to make light, but, if you had OCD and insomnia, this thing could be a real problem.

Or, if your significant other has a perverted sense of humor: "Holy Lite-Brite, Robin! The sex signal has been lit! Quick! To the BatDungeon!"



Yeah, on second thought, I'm not buying one of those. People do stupid things with Lite-Brites, spring time is coming, and my partner has that twinkle.





It used to be just good, clean, wholesome fun.





Now, everything's a battlefield. Sigh. Even a G-d damned Lite-Brite.



Limited bulbs and limited colors used to force kids to be creative with what they came up with.



And woe be unto the little brother or little sister who knocked the whole thing over by accident. Nobody played with a Lite-Brite like the kids on the box. (An early lesson in marketing vs. reality.)



Now, the colors are unlimited, and the safety net makes everyone a "participant," yay! Did you get your ribbon today? You can get one online, in all the harmonious hues of the rainbow. What color is *your* unicorn?





If I owned a little roadside motel, we'd advertise free Lite-Brites in every room, and our sign would be a big-ass Lite-Brite. And we'd have a big ass one in The Lounge of that little building they always use for the insomniac owner to pull the night shift in. Just because. Just for fun. Just for a wayward soul to come in, have a cup of coffee, and talk it all out. Over the Lite-Brite.
