I've mentioned this before, I think, here in the Lounge. Left my coven of 15 years and lost my two oldest and best friends in the process. I hadn't planned on cutting them out of my life completely, but the way they handled the situation was abysmal.

As briefly as possible, when I said I was taking a break from the coven and classes for a while, neither my oldest friend and coven sister, nor my second-oldest friend, the high priestess, ASKED me what was going on in my life--they just pfft--let me go. They had been discussing it among themselves and apparently decided they had it all figured out or something, WITHOUT asking me.

To this day they still don't know why I left. But I'm sure they think they don't need to ask.

They'd be dead wrong, of course.

So. Sorry you're going through this kind of thing, Lost. It truly sucks, doesn't it? Hang in there. Stick with the friends who care enough to ask you what's going on in your life--they're the real friends. :hug:
