45. I enjoyed this abq!
I went to bed shortly after my post, but I hear you - I have the night owl gene too! I am an inactive poet that once wrote amazing stuff in the wee hours. Could happen again I suppose. :-)

It's funny, I'm not hung up on all 80s music - some was drivel - but there were some amazing gems in there if you were really paying attention. Which is why your first post caught my eye! I agree about X, by the way. I can remember hearing them for the first time on local college radio and being mesmerized.

I have a soft spot for a lot of 60s and 70s stuff myself...it was my "childhood" music and strangely comforting to me to this day. I was a lucky child; I had very musically adventurous parents who taught me to really listen to music and try to understand the meaning behind it. I, too, listen to most music with an open mind, though some days it is harder with some of the corporate pop crap that seems to be everywhere.

I look forward to more of your musical "ramblings" because they make a hell of a lot of sense. :-)
