NY Times (especially the magazine and the book review section), NY Review of Books, New Republic, Saturday Review, and I try to at least skim any books that are reviewed in the above or that make it the library of Beyt Tikkun in Berkeley or the Beyt Tikkun (Michael Lerner) web site, or to the libraries of the two nearest Unitarian Universalist churches.

I do use the I/P Forum, the Peak Oil Forum and the Energy and Environment Forum of DU as a book finder (read the appends as a "book finder" not for truth in the appends) and get some good leads.
